After we changed our front door deadbolt, my wife struggled to unlock it every single day. The lock was stiff. The key was small. And some days, her grip just wasn't enough to turn it reliably.
I looked for a solution. Nothing simple existed.
As an engineer and husband, I couldn't leave that problem unsolved. Using professional software, I designed, prototyped, and iterated through multiple versions — optimizing for grip, torque, and fit — until the design performed reliably.
